Q Does a caller need to be informed that they are being recorded?
A In some states yes. If you are in a state that requires "two party notification" of call recording, Go4callloger can be configured to play an audible beep to notify parties that they are being recorded on some analog systems. There are third party devices that can provide the beep tone on incompatible systems. Also, you may only be required to provide a single notification at the beginning of a call. Q How does Go4callloger maintain system security? (i.e. user access, etc.)
A

User authentication is required for all system access. All features within Go4callloger have associated permissions that can be granted to users on an individual basis. Administrators can also configure the system to use strong passwords and configure passwords to expire periodically. Recordings can be secured with encryption if desired.

Q Will Go4callloger work with my current telephone system?
A Yes, Go4callloger is compatible with all major digital and analog telephone systems.
Q How many workstations can access stored data simultaneously?
A All networked computers are capable of accessing information at the same time.
Q Can I e-mail a recorded voice message to interested parties?
A Yes, Go4callloger is configured to save recorded information in .wav format and provides a friendly interface to facilitate e-mailing recordings.
Q How many talk paths or telephone lines will Go4callloger monitor and record?
A

Go4callloger  is designed in a scalable manner allowing from a minimum of four channels all the way up to thousands of channels. Our modular recording servers can hold up to 128 channels each and there is no practical limit to the number of recording servers that can be installed in a single system.

Q How do I hook up the Go4callloger?
A Go4callloger provides a passive tap that you simply cross connect to your existing phone lines. Cabling and wire tapping instructions are included with the system.
NOTE: Some phone systems may require connection to the handset of each phone.
Q How easily can I access recorded conversations?
A Search call recordings stored on Go4callloger by any combination of date, time, channel, user, account number, or tracking number and then click on the appropriate record. Depending on your configuration, you may be able to search by caller name and telephone number (Caller ID), or dialed number as well. The simplicity of the user interface makes accessing data a breeze!
Q Can I monitor or recall stored data from any PC in my network?
A Any computer running Windows 98, Me, 2000, or XP within your network can be configured to access stored data.
Q If a power outage should occur will I lose data? Will Go4callloger automatically begin recording information when power is restored?
A Go4calllogercan be setup with a UPS (Universal Power Supply) preventing the loss of power to your Go4callloger call recording system. In the event of a power outage, existing data will not be lost and Go4callloger will automatically start recording when power is restored.
Q We need the ability of recording and monitoring both radio and telephone conversations. Can one Go4callloger system cover all of my recording needs?
A Yes, the system is capable of recording both radio and telephone conversations. Go4callloger uses one port per talk path regardless of the origin of the communication.
Q What method of archival does Go4callloger incorporate?
A

DVD - 9.4 Gig. Disks store up to 1692 hours of talk time.
DAT - 12 Gig. tapes enable recording of up to 2160 hours.
You can configure alarms to notify you when your archive media reaches a level specified by you. This assures you that you won’t lose important log time. Network storage is also available.
